As I sought to walk with Her
    wanting to receive
I let my eyes walk with me

Her stillness nestled closer
    becalmed my anxious quest,

Earthmother's mysteries
    for us keep.

As we were tracing through the green
    together step 'n step
Her voice flowed freely happy
    sweet company was kept.

Our laughter echoed outward, 
    splashed itself away
as love within prepared itself
    lest the laughter couldn't stay.
